A Prayer of Intercession for Those Involved in Spiritism

In a world where many are searching for power, guidance, and meaning in all the wrong places, this prayer calls us to stand in the gap for those caught in spiritual deception. Rooted in Isaiah’s warning, it reminds us that true light is found only in God—not in counterfeit spiritual practices. As you pray, allow your heart to be stirred with compassion and urgency for those walking in darkness. Prayer

Father, I intercede for all the lost people who engage in spiritism, witchcraft and sorcery. They’re on the road to destruction. They’re on the fast track for hell in this life and in the life to come. Living in chaos and darkness, they’re the prey of devils. Have mercy on them. Let the light of Jesus shine on them. Reveal to them by the Holy Spirit the beauty of Your law. Draw them to Jesus. I ask this in his name, amen.

Isaiah 8:19-22

When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
