Prayer

Father, You’ve sent a deliverer and a savior – Jesus the Messiah. Out of Galilee by the sea he preached, and his light is still shining today. His light shines for all people living in darkness. His light shines for all what are in need of joy and desire to expand their boarders. Your light shines for those who are bound by the chains of addiction and oppression. Your light is stilling calling Your army to action. Calling us to expand Your kingdom and the wonder of our King. Our King is the wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace. May we spread his fame and glory to everyone. I understand the expansion of His government will have no end. From the throne of David he will distribute peace, justice, and righteousness. Your zeal will make this happen. Fill me with Your zeal so I can partner with You in expanding Your kingdom and the knowledge of our wonderful King. Let Your light shine in and through me. Break all bonds of sin and oppression that would seek to enslave me. Expand my boarders. Fill me with joy. Remove all darkness from my heart and spirit. May I walk in the counsel of the King and may His peace govern my emotions and relationships thoroughly. Do this so, Your light can shine perfectly through me to others. May my life be a perfect mirror that reveals the reflection of Jesus so others can reap the benefits of walking in the light of our wonderful king. Jesus You’re the light of the world. Praise the Lord.

Isaiah 9:1-7

Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan— The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor. Every warrior’s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
