As the world becomes more secular and unbelieving, we need the Holy Spirit’s power to preach the gospel more than ever. Pray with me for this power from on high, and let’s spread the gospel around the world. If this prayer ministered to you, then be sure to share it on all your social media platforms. 

Prayer

Holy Spirit, empower me to teach and preach the true gospel. I will reject all gimmicks and temptations that come with ministry. I’ll be fully committed to true doctrine and ethical ministry. I reject people-pleasing, flattery and manipulation. I’m not looking for profit; I’m looking for impact. You’ll test my heart and motives. Prepare me to pass the test in Jesus name, amen.

1 Thessalonians 2:3-6b

For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles of Christ we could have asserted our authority.
