A Prayer of Deliverance from Our Enemies

Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as the defender of His people. When nations and armies rose against Israel, the Lord repeatedly demonstrated that no enemy is greater than His power. Isaiah reminds us that God’s purposes cannot be thwarted and that those who oppose His plans will ultimately fail. As you pray today, place your confidence in the Lord’s protection. Whether your battles are spiritual, relational, emotional, or physical, remember that God is able to deliver, defend, and preserve those who trust in Him.

Prayer

Father, crush my enemies that attack me. When the Assyrians attacked Judah, You destroyed them. I pray You’ll do the same thing for me (Isaiah 37:36-38). When my enemies attack me, raise up a standard against them. Be my protection. Keep me safe. Hide me from them, then drag them back to their land. Isolate them to their domain in Jesus name, my protector.

Isaiah 14:24-27

The LORD Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen. I will crush the Assyrian in my land; on my mountains I will trample him down. His yoke will be taken from my people, and his burden removed from their shoulders.” This is the plan determined for the whole world; this is the hand stretched out over all nations. For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?
