The Bible is clear. We must have peace within if we’re going to spread peace throughout the world. The call to be peace-makers is impossible without the Holy Spirit giving us the power to walk out peace internally. This prayer can get us started in the process of spreading peace. If it ministers to you, then like it, share it, and spread it. 

Prayer

Jesus, help me develop my inner life. Those concerned with the external only wish to please people and to be at the top of their own spiritual pyramid. The only thing I have to boast about is You! My confidence is in You. You give me internal peace. I’m seeking to live from the inside out. I’ll be an emissary of peace. Make me a blessing to people in word and deed. Even in times of persecution, I’ll still experience Your peace. You’re the Prince of Peace; calm all storms within me in Your name I pray, amen (Isaiah 9:6, Mark 4:35-39).

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.

From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
