Pastor’s are attacked from all angles. Yet the prayers of the people that sit under them can sustain them in the ongoing battle. Join with me in praying for your pastors so they will be ready for battle in the fray of spiritual warfare. Share this with the people that you worship with so you can cover your pastor in prayer. 

Prayer

Father, I come in the name of Jesus on behalf of my pastor. I ask they’ll be rooted and established in truth. No deception will cover their eyes. Truth will be their primary mode of operation. Shape them into humble servants that never forget their dependence upon You. Humility will motivate them to learn, grow, and listen. Integrity will guide their course of action. Holiness will be the passion of their heart. Allow them to ride forth in victory-spreading truth, humility and holiness. May what You’ve placed in their heart be accomplished by their hands, resulting in an understanding by all people that these accomplishments were conducted by Your power rather than the strength of man. May their victories give You glory! I stand against every enemy that would attack them. Let every demonic force be destroyed and removed from their path. Let every person who wrongly opposes them repent and be free from the influence of the evil one. Their hitting their targets. They’re reaching their missional goals. The nations are falling at their feet in Jesus’ name, amen.

Psalms 45:4-5

In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds. Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.
