We must have compassion for the saints. Some are facing persecution and others are battling the normal struggles of life. When we see our fellow brothers and sisters struggling, we should have compassion stirred up in our life. I crafted a prayer to help us grow in compassion. Pray this prayer. Share it with your friends. Repost it on your wall.

Prayer

Father, give me and the church compassion for the suffering. Fill us with empathy. Maturity never leaves compassion. Help us to tear down the barriers that keep us from connecting to one another. Fill us with love for our brothers and sisters. As we grow into mature heirs cause our love and compassion for each other to grow deeper in Jesus name, amen.

Galatians 4:12-15

I plead with you, brothers and sisters, become like me, for I became like you. You did me no wrong. As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you, and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. Where, then, is your blessing of me now? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.
