Tears for the lost can only be given by the Holy Spirit. Paul pleaded with and prayed for the godless with tears. I understand that I need this type of love. This love for the lost is cultivated as we pray for them.  So join with me in prayer as we pray through Philippians 3:18-19 for the godless to be saved and come to faith in Christ.

Prayer

Father, turn the enemies of the cross into God-seekers.  Save the godless.  Turn their loyalties away from their own stomach, glory and pleasure.  Bring them to the cross and give them the grace to embrace it without reservation in Jesus’ name, amen.

Philippians 3:18-19

 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.
