A Prayer of Thanks and Affirmation of the Lord’s Justice

When injustice seems to prevail, it is tempting to wonder whether evil will ever truly be held accountable. Isaiah reminds us that God is not indifferent to sin. A day is coming when every act of rebellion, every wicked ruler, every demonic power, and every injustice will stand before His perfect judgment. His justice is never rushed, never biased, and never mistaken. Because He is perfectly holy, every verdict He renders will be righteous. As you pray today, thank God that the final outcome of history rests in His hands. Affirm His justice, trust His timing, and find peace in knowing that the Judge of all the earth will always do what is right.

Prayer

Father, I affirm Your justice. You’ll judge every demon and sinner issuing righteous judgment to them. Your decisions are righteous. Your verdicts are perfect. I can rest in the fact that You’ll execute perfect justice. Your workings for the future of humanity are perfect and good. Thank You for being a righteous judge, amen.

Isaiah 24:17-23

Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth. Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is violently shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls—never to rise again. In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below. They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days. The moon will be dismayed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders—with great glory.
