Demons will attack our attitude regarding the church. He will accuse the brethren while whispering in our ears. He will use our shortcomings against us, but if we remain in an attitude of prayer the Holy Spirit will shape our attitude regarding the church. He will show us the good. Pray this prayer regarding our attitude in regards to the church. Then share it with your friends.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, give me an attitude of gratitude in regard to the church. It’s so easy to see what is wrong with the church and forget to be thankful for what You’re doing. It’s so easy to get my eyes off of the good things that are happening through Your people. I’m aghast at being in a state of ingratitude. Your activity within Your people is great and wonderful; fix my gaze on these good things. Thank You for Your work! Gravitate my thoughts toward the goodness within Your people so I can be grateful at all times in Jesus name, amen.

2 Thessalonians 1:3-4

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
