Habakkuk has moved from discouragement to faith.  He has worked the process of bringing his complaints to God and allowing the Holy Spirit to filter his emotions from unbelief. He has left cynicism and returned to faith.  Many times we must make this same journey. The process starts with honesty with God, and this is where Habakkuk began. If you want to start the journey of praying through the book of Habakkuk from the beginning, then click here.  When we’re honest with God and we bring our concerns to him, then he is able to transform our critical soul into one which is ready to see miracles.  This is what God did for Habakkuk, and this is what God will do for you!  Come, let’s pray together.

Prayer

Father, I have heard of the miracles You have done in the Bible and in church history. Lord, do it again! You are the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We want to see revival. We want to see Your activity in the land. Renew them in our day! We don’t want Your miracles to be history. Make us Your miraculous people. Lord, heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons through us now (Matthew 10:8). The world needs a supernatural church so move upon Your people, in Jesus name.

Habakkuk 3:1-2

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet.  Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
