Throughout scripture, God reveals His ultimate plan—that His kingdom would be exalted above every other authority, influence, and system in the earth. In Isaiah’s vision, we see a future where the Lord’s kingdom stands as the highest and most desired reality, drawing people from every nation into truth, peace, and discipleship. This prayer is a declaration of agreement with that vision. It invites us not only to believe in the coming prominence of God’s kingdom, but to actively participate in it—allowing our lives to reflect, carry, and expand His rule on earth today.

Prayer

Father, we come into agreement with the vision that Your prophet saw. He saw the prominence of Your kingdom in the last days and we stand upon this promise. First of all, I pray that the mountain of Your kingdom will be prominent through me, and that my life will spread the prominence of Your kingdom to my circle of influence. Secondly, I ask that the mountain of Your kingdom will have more prominence and prestige than any other mountain on Earth. Cause people from all over the world to come to the mountain of the Lord. May they embrace the life of discipleship. Help them apply kingdom principles to their lives. I believe the gospel will go out to the entire world in power and authority. I ask that Your kingdom expand to such a degree that peace will be established among the nations and they’ll seek to govern their people in light of the revelation of Your word in Jesus’ name, amen. 

Isaiah 2:1-6

This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
