At the moment we’re born again, we’re given an opportunity to know and experience God in ways that are far greater than we could imagine. It’s my personal goal to press the limits in this experiential knowledge of God, and Psalms 15 lays out the guidelines for this spiritual pursuit. Read Psalms 15. Pray the prayer. Seek his face in your own words. Then share this with a few of your friends on your social media platforms. 

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I want to live in Your manifest presence. I long to have full access to the inner workings of Your kingdom. Many may settle for living in Your capital, but I want to live in Your throne room. I understand that living with an awareness of Your presence and having access to Your kingdom necessitates possessing Your character. So may my walk be blameless; never let me willfully embrace sin. I want to speak Your truth. Help me see facts correctly and live in absolute reality. Help me speak well of my friends and enemies. Give me Your hatred for wickedness. Help me keep my word even when I’m inconvenienced or hurt by it. Finally, give me wisdom with my money to use it as a tool to help people and never oppress them. Every one of these character qualities is a blessing to me because they give me greater access to Your sustained manifest presence.

Psalms 15:1-5

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts,  and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
