When Jesus asked, “Who do you say I am?” Peter boldly declared, “You are the Messiah.” That same revelation still changes hearts today. Our world is filled with many opinions about who Jesus is—but only one truth brings life. This passage calls us to pray that every nation and every person will come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. As you pray today, let your heart align with God’s desire for the nations, and invite others to join in spreading the good news by sharing this post.
Prayer
Jesus, You’re the Christ, the Son of the living God. My prayer is that the whole world will come to know that You’re the Messiah. I pray that every nation, people and tongue will accept and receive Your Lordship. I ask that every worshipper within a false religious system will discover You as their Lord and Savior. Spread the gospel to the world for Your namesake in Jesus name, amen.
Mark 8:27-30
Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.” Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about him.
