Jesus sacrificed all so I could have a relationship with God. If he was willing to make this sacrifice, then how much more should I be willing to sacrifice to be with him?  This prayer thanks Jesus for his sacrifice, then commits to faithfully enduring in our pursuit of him.  Pray this short prayer. Form your own words. Then pass it along to your friends.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for reconciling me to God, the Father. Your work took place in Your own body, and I’ll make Your sacrifice pay off by being faithful and enduring until the end. I’ll make the most of the grace You’ve given me through the power of Your name, name.

Colossians 1:21-23

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
