We’ve all had difficult times in life. We have all experienced moments where we think, “God, where are you?” It takes a determined faith to praise the Lord in these moments, and this is the faith that Habakkuk is encouraging us to have.  Let’s pray this prayer together that’s based on Habakkuk 3:17-18.

Prayer

Lord, my praise to You and my faith in You is not dependent upon my circumstance. It does matter if I am broke and there is no sign of provision in sight, I will still praise You.  I will still trust You. You are worthy of my praise in the good times and in the bad times, and Lord I praise You right now! Hallelujah!!!

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
