In Mark 10:32–34, we see Jesus moving toward Jerusalem with unwavering resolve, fully committed to fulfilling the Father’s will—even though it meant suffering, betrayal, and death. His faithfulness wasn’t accidental; it was intentional obedience. As we meditate on this passage, we’re reminded of our own call to follow through with what God has placed in our hearts. Today’s prayer invites us to cultivate that same steadfast spirit. If this encourages you, feel free to share it with someone who needs strength to stay faithful in their calling.

Prayer

Jesus, You did what You said You would do. Give me that same ability to follow through with what I say in Your name I pray, amen.

Mark 10: 32-34

As they were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again He took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to Him. “We are going up to Jerusalem,” He said, “and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn Him to death and will hand Him over to the Gentiles, who will mock Him and spit on Him, flog Him and kill Him. Three days later He will rise.”
