A Prayer for a Kingdom Revival

Isaiah 35 gives us one of Scripture’s most beautiful pictures of transformation. Deserts blossom, weak hands become strong, fearful hearts receive courage, blind eyes open, deaf ears hear, the lame leap, streams flow through barren places, and the redeemed return with everlasting joy. This is more than a picture of personal blessing; it reveals what happens when the kingdom of God breaks into broken places. Revival should transform people, families, churches, communities, and ultimately every sphere touched by God’s people. As you pray today, ask God for a kingdom revival that goes beyond emotional moments and produces lasting transformation—miracles, salvation, holiness, discipleship, restored lives, strengthened believers, and a joyful people who learn to walk in the authority and character of King Jesus.

Prayer

Father, I pray Your people will move in such kingdom power that everything they touch will be transformed. Desserts are turned into environments that are teaming with life. Make us a people of revival! Social, environmental, cultural, governmental, familial and individual revival will flow freely. Strengthen the weak believers; fill them with Your power. Steady their walk. Bring Your church to a place of strength and power again. Let them take Your miracle working power to the streets: healing the lame, opening the eyes of the blind and driving out demons. May the masses come into Your kingdom through the door of Jesus (John 10:9). May Your narrow path be turned into a board highway. I pray these new Christians will embrace the consecrated life. Holiness will be their goal and Your sanctifying grace will work powerfully among us all. I ask that these new believers will mature, giving no place for the enemy in their life. Release their praise. Filled them with joy. Bring them into royal positions of authority within Your kingdom. May they learn to walk in the authority You’ve given them. I pray they’ll govern their lives, ministries and domains with kingdom wisdom in the name of King Jesus we pray, amen.

Isaiah 35:1-10

The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
