Jesus reminds us in Mark 4:21–23 that His light is not meant to be hidden but to shine for all to see. As followers of Christ, we are called to be lamps on a stand—radiating His truth, love, and glory in a world that often walks in darkness. This prayer is an invitation to let His light shine through us, that others might be drawn to His presence. Prayer

Jesus, I long to shine for You! I long to illuminate Your testimony, work and glory. Reveal through me the beauty of who You are. Draw people to Your light. Giving You glory is my delight. So do this in the power of Your name, amen. 

Mark 4: 21-23

He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.”
