In Mark 9:30–32, Jesus speaks plainly about His suffering, death, and resurrection, yet the disciples stay silent out of fear rather than ask what He means. This prayer is for those who long to grow beyond silent confusion into courageous curiosity. God welcomes honest questions from a believing heart, and true discipleship often begins with daring to ask. If this blesses you, share it with others who are on the journey of learning, asking, and growing deeper in faith.
Prayer
Father, give me the boldness to ask You tough questions. Put an inquisitive spirit within me that cannot settle for pat answers. I’ll not fear Your answers. Your answers are perfect. Give me the right questions. Instill an appetite for learning in me that cannot be quenched. With a heart of faith, I’ll ask You questions. I receive Your instruction in Jesus name, amen.
Mark 9:30-32
They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were because He was teaching His disciples. He told them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and after three days He will rise.” But they did not understand what He meant and were afraid to ask Him about it.
