Preparation is a kingdom principle. Before Jesus ever broke bread with His disciples, intentional preparation for the Passover took place—space made, details handled, hearts positioned. In Mark 14:12, the disciples didn’t assume readiness; they asked where and how to prepare. In the same way, following Jesus isn’t passive. It requires alignment, repentance, and a life shaped by eternity. This prayer invites the Holy Spirit to prepare us now for the Kingdom we will one day fully inherit.

Prayer

Jesus, just as the disciples prepared for the passover prepare me to dine with You in the Kingdom (Matthew 26:29). Turn up the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Align my life and relationships with Your word. Prepare me to live in eternity in Jesus’ name, amen.

Mark 14:12

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
