In the wilderness Jesus faced intense temptation—and triumphed. His victory wasn’t just personal; it’s a pattern and promise for every believer. As we reflect on Mark 1:12-13 we invite the Spirit to lead us into victory, just as He did with Jesus. Prayer

Abba, just as Jesus lived in victory over temptation, gave me that same victory. May His victory be translated into my life. Be victorious within me! May sin and Satan have no hold within me. Let the glory of Jesus drive temptation from me in His wonderful name I pray, amen.

Mark 1:12-13

At once the Spirit sent him out into the wilderness, and he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
