Mark 4:26–34 paints a beautiful picture of the Kingdom of God—like a seed that quietly grows into a harvest, or a mustard seed that becomes a sheltering tree. God’s Kingdom advances often in small, unseen ways until it blossoms into something far greater. This prayer asks the Lord for knowledge and wisdom to faithfully sow His Kingdom into every area of life, trusting Him to bring growth and fruit. Prayer

Father, give me the knowledge and wisdom to sow Your Kingdom in every part of my life. I’ll not lose heart in the process of Your Kingdom being made manifest in every part of my life. With diligence I’ll keep sowing Your principles, power, and ways into every aspect of my life. Manifest Your Kingdom in my ethics, marriage, ministry, business, hobbies, parenting, friendships, routines, gifts, talents, money management, generosity, hospitality and intimacy with You. May I demonstrate the full glory of Your Kingdom. Let me demonstrate that I’m one of Your choice children. Magnificently manifest Your Kingdom in my life. Keep me from being sidetracked by smallness beginnings in Jesus name, amen. 

Mark 4:26-34

He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”

With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.
