In Mark 3:31–34, Jesus redefines family as those who do the will of God. His words challenge us to realign our priorities so obedience to the Father becomes the center of our lives. This prayer helps us commit to living out God’s will with courage and surrender. As you reflect, share this with a friend or loved one who desires to deepen their discipleship journey.

Prayer

Jesus, I commit to do Your will as I understand it. Open my eyes to what Your will is. Place me on the same page as You. I don’t want to be on the outside asking You to stop Your assignments for my sake. I refuse to operate under the assumption You need to come to me. Convict my heart. I must go to You. Impress upon me the urgency of sitting at Your feet. Form me into a willing and complete disciple in Jesus name, amen.

Mark 3:31-34

Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.” “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
